This is a well made jacket and looks lovely. The sleeves fit well around my wrists and are a bit long. However, I sized up as I wanted a bit loose. It wasn’t necessary. I wear a modern size 14 in just about everything. I could wrap this jacket about two inches past the snaps in front. If you’re my size, an XL will be fine
